Russian Facebook or Vkontakte

Have you ever heard about Russian Facebook or Vkontakte?

If not, I'm going to tell you a little about it. It is almost like Facebook, but has less privacy, restrictions and less pushy apps that you don't need.

Since I've decided to make this blog bilingual and I have a big Russian following about USA in Russian Facebook, I think that our American friends should join too. Here are simple instructions on how to do it. And don't worry, you don't have to learn Russian =))).

Why would you want to do it? You see, there are a lot of Russian girls and boys willing to come to USA, to learn more about this great country, find American friends or a significant other.

So I decided, why not?

Here is the instruction how to join Vkontakte ( Russian Facebook ) :

1. First open web site vk.com

2. If it will be in Russian change it to English

3. Then fill out you info (you don't have to provide your real name)

4. Then verify your account via message (there will be no charges, no promotions, nothing)

5. Then find our group http://vk.com/success_in_usa and have fun.

Another great thing about vkontake is that people share their info, there is no that privacy BS unless person chooses to restrict his/her page. So you can learn persons interests, check his/her photos, favorite things in life, etc.
